FRANSZISKA VIELMUTH, M.D., is a post-doctoral fellow in the laboratory of Jens Waschke at the LMU in Munich, Germany and participates in a broad range of anatomy teaching including dissection courses and histology. Her research interests focus on mechanisms of desmosomal adhesion using biophysical techniques. Details of her work can be found here. She is the faculty coordinator for the program.
