Dr Maria Esther Esteban, Ph.D., is a Full Professor at University of Barcelona since 2008. She has held management positions as Secretary of the Department of Animal Biology and Coordinator of the Master in Biological Anthropology. She is currently Head of Studies of the Biomedical Sciences degree (Faculty of Biology, Diagonal campus). Specialized in Genetics and Genomics of human populations, her research interests expand to human ecology, epidemiology, and biomedical applications.
