TAKESHI SAKURAI, M.D., Ph.D. is a former Professor in Medical Innovation Center at Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto, Japan, and an adjunct teaching faculty at Columbia University, New York. He has been teaching anatomy and neuroanatomy. He has been helping medical students at Kyoto to do research internship abroad. He has been the faculty contact at Kyoto University, Japan, for the program for 6 years prior to his departure from Kyoto University.
He is an adjunct professor at Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan; Nagoya University School of Medicine, Japan; and Columbia University, USA.
He continues to serve as advisor to the program for Japan and supports inbound and outbound student exchanges to Japan.
